Job Description/Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Associate, you will manage the execution and completion of engineering projects.

·

Analyzing project scope and specifications, establishing test programs for product investigations and preparing reports for clients is the integral part of this job.

·

Exercise Project Handler Signature Authority and Review Signature Authority as needed.

·

Demonstrated ability to independently handle projects within assigned product categories, with review at standard checkpoints, resolve engineering issues, propose new and/or revised UL requirements.

·

Have detailed knowledge of technical terminology and should cultivate understanding of project-handling concepts.

·

Determine project scope and develop a plan of investigation.

·

Promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services to clients. Review product files and manufacturer's information, and notify client of areas where product is not in compliance with UL requirements.

·

Coordinate laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instruction to technicians.

·

Convey project status and results to clients.

Desired Candidate profile:

Excellent communication, mathematical and reasoning skills.

·

Familiarity with conformity standards.

Experience:

0 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/safety and certification setup.

Education Qualification:

BE/Btech (full time) with 65% and above.
